<p>The IDF stated: “Earlier today (Wednesday), IDF soldiers and Israel Border Police forces were dispatched to the Bazariya area following a report of rock hurling toward an Israeli civilian, who was injured.” </p><p>”A confrontation subsequently developed, involving a gathering of dozens of Palestinians and Israeli civilians. During the confrontation and the evacuation of the injured Israeli civilian for medical treatment, a security personnel member and an additional Israeli civilian opened fire at the site of the confrontation.</p><p>”At the same time, security forces operated to disperse the gathering. A commander operating in the area identified a terrorist running toward him while carrying a suspicious object and neutralized him.</p><p>”In addition, several suspects in the hurling of rocks were apprehended and are currently being questioned by security forces.</p><p>”The incident is under review.”</p> | Read More in News from Israel
