<p>Following a situational assessment and in accordance with the directive of IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir, it was decided that the 98th Division Headquarters will operate in Judea and Samaria and assume command of the Judea and Etzion Brigades.</p><p>The activation of the division headquarters in the area is part of strengthening command and control, in order to enhance defensive and offensive capabilities in Judea and Samaria.
