G., commander of the Ovda Airbase, is expected to be promoted to the rank of brigadier general next summer, becoming the first female pilot in the IAF to reach that rank.</p><p>Seven years ago, she commanded the Nachshon Squadron, based at Nevatim Airbase and responsible for intelligence-gathering missions.
